INTRODUCING ASHLEY MIRANDO
From her first live performance at the young age of 4, Ashley Mirando knew singing was her passion. Growing up in Madison, CT, she seized every opportunity to perform in her community. Ashley left middle school, being the only student in her class to receive the National School Choral Award. She went on to Daniel Hand High School and took full advantage of every vocal group & choir she could be a part of, including "Vibe," the high school's premier Show Choir, earning "Best Female Vocalist" at 2 different show choir competitions. She graduated High School with one of the highest vocal honors, the Charles H Quigley Senior Vocal Award. In the fall of 2007, Ashley continued her studies of music at Berklee College of Music. In her 3rd semester she was accepted into (what was then) the only co-ed acapella group, Pitch Slapped. She performed frequently with the group in the Boston area in the backgrounds as well as a featured soloist. While at Berklee, she continued to work on her craft through class and private lessons. Upon leaving college, Ashley picked up guitar lessons and began experimenting with songwriting as well, playing a few acoustic solo shows here and there & continuing to sing with various acoustic duos as well as filling in with bands around CT. In 2021, Sunset Drive was founded. A pop, rock & modern country band that pushed Ashley outside of her comfort zone and continues to lead to incredible opportunities. Since day one, they have performed at various bars, breweries, fairs, festivals & casinos across CT & MA. In October of 2025, they had their first feature show at Mohegan Sun's Wolf Den; her dream stage. A 'family girl' to the core & Mama to an incredible little girl, Ashley continues to perform with Sunset Drive, as well as seeking out any opportunities to use her voice. The stage is very much where she was meant to be, and sharing her passion is all she's ever wanted to do. Her biggest dream has always been to sing for people, share her voice, no matter how small or large the crowd; and she will always do just that.
OUR STORY…
Ashley and Joe met many years ago at Taylor Brooke Brewing in Woodstock CT. While Ashley along with her band and Joe pursuing his longtime solo career continue to experience music success today, they have formed one of New England's premier acoustic duos, expanding their horizons to compliment their present projects. With dynamic vocal harmony and precision acoustic guitar work along with amazing song selections, makes this duo a must see performance.
